We work with new construction and renovations - new home under construction

We spend time getting to know you and your needs, budget, ideas and vision.  In our free in home consultation we sit down with our clients and define exactly what they are trying to achieve with the design. We guide you through the process of coming up with a design, selecting the products you need and then working closely with you as your project gets started. Working with us is different – because none of us like change orders we have revised the standard approach.  We don’t use allowances – after all the design documents have been completed and all of you selections priced and documented we then put together bid packages to three of our strategic contractors for bidding and we can also send a bid package to a contractor of your choice.  We believe in transparency from the beginning and the ability to compare all possible options. 1.  Free In Home Consultation –  (Plan 2 Hours)

  • WE DISCUSS THE SCOPE OF WORK & PREVIEW SPACE
  • WE COMPLETE THE PROJECT INTERVIEW
  • PREPARE & REVIEW THE BUDGET ANALYSIS
  • REVIEW OF OUR LETTER OF INTENT WHICH DEFINES ALL FEES & POLICY STRUCTURE

2.  Moving Forward (2 Weeks)

  • WE COMPLETE THE LETTER OF INTENT
  • WE PREVIEW THE SPACE WITH SELECTED CONTRACTOR PRIOR TO DESIGN LAYOUTS
  • WE CREATE THE DESIGN LAYOUT OPTIONS

3.  Presentation & Selection (2 Weeks)

  • WE MEET AT THE SHOWROOM TO REVIEW ALL DESIGN LAYOUTS & SELECT ALL PRODUCTS

4.  Bid Package (1 Week)

  • WE PREPARE ALL FINAL DESIGN DOCUMENTS
  • WE PREPARE THE SELECTION AND PRICING BOOKLET
  • WE REVIEW THE BID PACKAGE WITH CONTRACTORS

5.  Implementation (1 Week)

  • YOU APPROVE ALL PRODUCT SELECTIONS
  • YOU SELECT THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR
  • WE ORDER ALL PRODUCTS FOR THE PROJECT START-UP
  • THE GC PULLS PERMITS AND HOA APPROVALS AS REQUIRED

6.  Project Management (XXX Weeks)

  • WE WORK WITH THE SELECTED CONTRACTOR AND CLIENT THROUGH THE DURATION OF THE PROJECT, AS REQUIRED TO ENSURE THE INTEGRITY OF THE DESIGN.
